Video Homework

Please watch each of these videos a few times. Picture yourself in these situations and think about what you should do.  Notice how in all these cases there is the triangle formation!

1.  Watch how the Sharks keep possession of the puck along the boards but are constantly looking to find an open man for a shot.  They are using the cycle to create offensive chances.

2.  Watch how Sweden sets up for the cycle and immediately finds the open man in the middle.  That guy could then set up a give and go with the guy in the corner.

3.  Watch the spacing of the players.  The F calling for the cycle leaves himself plenty of room.  Also, they are using the cycle to create an offensive chance.

4.  Notice how the player receiving the cycle looks up.  He looks for the open man.  If there was nobody open and he didn't have a clear path to the net he would have come down the boards and continued to cycle the puck until someone came open.
